Today we were notified that another member of our school has contracted COVID. This is the fourth person at INSPiRE to become sick in the span of just over one week. The number of cases in the school has now reached a concerning level.
In an effort to protect our school community, including those with medical conditions that place them at elevated risk of severe illness, we have chosen to close the campus for the remainder of the week. The school will return to normal operations on Monday May 23rd.
The teachers
will offer remote learning to the students for the remainder of the week. Your
child’s teacher is sending a letter home with them today containing details of
how that will work.
We deeply
regret the disruption this will create in both your child’s, as well as your
household routines, but we feel this decision is in the best interest of
everyone’s health and safety.
